Being informed of the children playing in the playroom on the second floor, he went to the playroom.

He held in his arms the children who were rushed to him for a while and caressed them before hearing their songs and gave them a cheer.

When the children finished singing songs, he asked them to come and asked them about their play and tasty food.

Seeing an lovely faces of the innocent children with a bright smile, he gave detailed instructions concerning the nutrition of the children. He said: teachers assume heavy responsibilities in educating and upbringing the children and so they should take care of them in a responsible manner. He also stressed that it is necessary to bring up the children well so that they may have a strong physical body and mind, it is essential to take good care of them so that they may grow well, finding themselves with laughter all the time with nothing to envy as well as parentless sorrow.

Though it was time to leave, saying he would like to see the children taking a meal he went to the dining room.

At the dining room he acquainted himself with the menu and looked at the children taking a meal. He gave detailed instructions to make various foods with the food materials of the same kind and give a snack between meals.

And then he asked the teachers of the Pyongyang Orphanage to take good care of the children who are bright future of the country and successors to the revolution, saying that the whole country gets light when there is loud laughter of the children.
