On the early morning of August 15, 2018 the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un arrived at Yangdok Railway Station by train.

At the office room of the train he met with the leading officials of Yangdok County. He told them that he came to acquaint himself with the specific conditions of the hot spring in a bid to build a hot spring resort as a model of the whole country that he had already planned to do long ago and then opened a consultative meeting.

At the meeting he said the county has favorable traffic conditions and therefore, it is the best place for the building of a hot spring health resort and hot spring cultural resort.

He went on to say that he is planning to build a large-size general hot spring hotel in a valley of Sokthang hot spring area. And as it is not enough for all accommodation, self-service lodging facilities need to be set up along with the hotel. It is also necessary to build outdoor and indoor bath rooms. The temperature of gushing out hot spring is above 60 degrees and so it is necessary to cool it in a storage tank for a while or add some water before using it, otherwise people can be scaled. The best temperature of hot spring is between 35 to 40 degrees and so it would be better to find a way of lowering the temperature without mixing it with water.

He gave detailed instructions concerning the construction of Yangdok Hot Spring Resort. He said he feels very good today, he will be pleased to work for the welfare of the people, he is going to see all the places in the resort for several hours. And he made on-the-spot survey of Yangdok hot spring area together with the officials.
