The “International Solidarity Conference for Celebrating the 70^th Anniversary of Victory in the Korean War” took place in Russia on July 15.

Attending it were figures and members of the International Group for Solidarity with the DPRK and German and Belarusian branches of the group and the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK.

At the conference, there was a keynote speech of the chief of the International Group for Solidarity with the DPRK to be followed by speeches.

The chairperson of the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK and other speakers noted that the Korean war in the last century clearly showed that once there are the wise leadership of the leader and the people with indomitable fighting spirit, not a big country can be sure to defeat a formidable enemy, saying that July 27, 1953, the historic day when the Korean people defeated the U.S. imperialists, is a holiday common to the whole of mankind.

They extended warm congratulation to the Korean people on greeting the victory day, saying that under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is successfully carrying forward the cause of the preceding leaders, the Korean People’s Army has developed into a powerful militant rank capable of defeating any formidable enemies at a single blow, the signal successes gained in the building of a powerful socialist country strike the progressives with wonder and hoped the dignity of the DPRK would continuously be demonstrated in the international arena.

Adopted at the conference was a congratulatory message to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
