For Three Children Bereaved of Parents
A brother-and-sister threesome sitting side by side in the picture are called Ri Sung Ri, Ri Mi Rae and Ri Yong Gwang.
They lost their parents when they were at nursing babies tens of years ago. War veteran named Ri Kwang Ho took them to his home.
Ordinary working people including a woman named Ko Hyang Bun in Taedonggang District, Pyongyang, took care of their life with parental affection.
The old man Ri Kwang Ho passed away a few years ago, but an increasing number of the people looked after them day by day.
They are concerned about all things of the children and their sincerity for them was beyond the loving care and feelings of their own flesh and blood.
The three bereaved children grew up to be young people under their loving care and now lead a worthy social life.
Wedding ceremony for Ri Sung Ri, the eldest of them, took place at a restaurant in the capital city a few years ago.
At the place of wedding ceremony the three young people loudly sang a song “We are the Happiest in the world” with the gratitude to the socialist system where all the people live in good harmony, helping and leading one another forward, and to all the unforgettable people who looked them after with utmost care.
