Events Held Abroad to Celebrate
the 78th Anniversary of Korea’s Liberation


Seminars took place in Nepal and Austria and a lecture meeting in Guinea from August 3 to 13 to celebrate the 78th anniversary of Korea’s liberation.
Speeches were made at the events attended by personages of various circles and masses in those countries.
The chairman of the Nepali Literary Forum for the Study of Songun Politics said that President Kim Il Sung waged an arduous anti-Japanese war under the uplifted banner of independence and sovereignty to liberate Korea (August 15, 1945) and Chairman Kim Jong Il carried forward the revolutionary cause started by the President to defend the sovereignty and dignity of the country and nation by a dint of Songun politics.
Today, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea under the guidance of Marshal Kim Jong Un has powerful military force so as to become a world-class military power that any formidable enemy dares not to provoke.
President Kim Il Sungs exploits for national liberation would be immortal.
The chief and members of the Vienna Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in Austria said that the great leader of the Korean people President Kim Il Sung wisely led the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army to give a telling blow at the Japanese Imperialists and ended the 40-odd-year’s colonial rule by Japanese Imperialism, adding that he built a new society where the people became masters after the liberation of the country and defeated the U.S. imperialists in the three-year war, thus working a military miracle in the 20th century.
Meanwhile, a seminar on the exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and a book and photo exhibition were held in Egypt on August 13 to mark the 63rd anniversary of Kim Jong Il’s start of his leadership over the revolutionary armed forces and the 78th anniversary of Korea’s liberation.
