November 16 is the Mother’s Day in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un saw to it that November 16 was instituted as the Mother’s Day when President Kim Il Sung (1912-1994) delivered a significant speech “The Duty of Mothers in the Education of Children” at the 1^st National Meeting of Mothers (1961).

He grandly held the Fourth National Meeting of Mothers on the occasion of the first Mother’s Day in 2012 in Pyongyang and had a photo session with the participants in the meeting.

On the occasion of the significant Mother’s Day born under the great care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un all the people in the DPRK visit their own mothers and their teachers who brought up their students for tens of years from their girlhood to put them forward before the country and give them bunches of beautiful flowers and souvenirs and congratulate them so that they might feel the happiness and pride of being mother and educationist.
