The 7^th Session of the 14^th Supreme People’s Assembly(SPA) held in September 2022 adopted the law of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea “DPRK Policy on Nuclear Forces”.

The mission and the operation of the nuclear force of the republic are completely stipulated in this law.

The adoption of this law made the position of the Republic, a responsible nuclear power nation, irreversible, fully demonstrated the will to defend the national rights and interests and provided a creditable legal weapon helpful to peace and prosperity in the Korean peninsula, region and the world.

The great event in national history is a valuable product of the transparent independent conviction, bold decision, self-sacrificing devotion and fervent love for the country and people of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who accomplished the historic cause of completing state nuclear forces, making a long journey for patriotic devotion and self-sacrificing visit to frontline, and ensured the eternal prosperity and happiness of all generations of the nation.

One year after it the 9^th Session of the 14^th SPA of the DPRK formulated it as the socialist constitution of the DPRK to advance the development of nuclear weapon highly and thus guarantee the country’s right to existence and development, deter war and safeguard peace and stability in the region and the rest of the world.
