The building seen in the picture is the Breast Tumour Institute of the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital built in November 2012 upon the direct initiative of Chairman Kim Jong Il and under the meticulous guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un .
The institute was built by the side of the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital in a matter of 8 months as a general medical service base and scientific research base for the prevention and treatment of the breast disease of women.
The institute is furnished with breast photographing room, roentgenograph room, tumor treatment room, Koryo treatment room, endoscopy room for lactiferous duct, intensive treatment room and operation room and other diagnosis and treatment rooms and sick-rooms.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the institute before its inauguration and made rounds of various places. He said, now that the institute is equipped with ultra-modern medical facilities, it is necessary to put the prevention and treatment of the breast diseases and scientific researches on a high level.
