Taedong River
The Taedong River takes its source from Mt. Rangrim in Taehung County, South Phyongan Province and flows into the West Sea of Korea. It is 450.3 kilometers long. It is the fifth long river in Korea.
It flows through the centre of Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK. It leisurely skirts Mt. Juam, Moran Hill, Mansu Hill, Nam Hill, Mangyong Hill and other hills, high and low.
The scenery of the bank of the river is very beautiful.
