After a while we were taken to the dining hall to have Korean foods before going back to the room.
At that time, the official who welcomed us at the airport came to us and said that President Kim Il Sung was informed of our safe arrival.
He added to say that the President met a lot of high-ranking delegations of other countries on that day but he was very glad to hear their arrival. And then he said to the official that as they might feel tired from the long journey and asked him to take good care of them with some visits so that they could enjoyed the time.
We were deeply moved by his boundless gratitude and meticulous loving care.
Some days later we visited the President’s birthplace at Mangyongdae, bases for upbringing and educating children, educational and health institutions, factories, rural villages, scenic sports and cultural and art establishment. (to be continued)
