One day in August 2013 the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited Unha Scientists Street under construction.

He acquainted himself with the construction and made a round of an apartment house where the outer wall tile-setting was finished.

He gave a high appreciation of the use of quality building materials for the kitchen and washroom and of the building work.

An official told the General Secretary that furniture-making units, true to the teaching of the General Secretary to provide the houses of scientists with good furniture, were vying with each other to make better furniture.

General Secretary said, it was very good and all the conditions should be provided so that scientists who were moving into new hoses might bring private furnishings and household goods they used habitually. He added that the builders should develop a higher sense of responsibility in the building work with the care of furnishing their own houses.
