Scenic Spot, Myongsasimni
The scenic spot Myongsasimni is a sandy plain spreading at seashore east of Kalma peninsula in Wonsan, Kangwon Province of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
Myongsasimni comes from the meaning that this sandy plain offers brighter view and covers the area of 10 ri (4km).
It is picturesque in good harmony with sweet briers in white sandbank stretching out along the seashore, pine trees around it and waves of the East Sea of Korea.
It was registered as a scenic spot in March 1997.
