Sea Chilbo Moon Gate, a living monument, is one of well known scenic spots of Sea Chilbo of Mt. Chilbo. It is called moon gate as its shape looks like the moon.
It is 10 meters high and about 5 meters wide.
This cave is perforated.
The scenery of the natural stone gate surrounded with surging waves and filled with the full moon, is spectacular.
Sea Chilbo Moon Gate is not only wonderful as a noted place but also scientifically significant in studying the abrasion cave that has taken shape in the place spouted lava .
