One day in November, 2015, General Secretary Kim Jong Un came to the place where the test run of the newly-made subway train was to take place.

While looking around a compartment, he stopped to look at the mark of the seats for exclusive use.

It was the mark of the seats for the aged, the handicapped, pregnant women and women with babies. The marks were attached by the instructions he gave to make flawless fittings in terms of aesthetics and practicality when he examined the new metro car made by the Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex one month ago.

Noting on the instructions he had given before to make exclusive seats for the aged and the handicapped, he pointed out that although the seats had marks, they were not differentiated from others by color. He added folding chairs should be installed to make enough room for keeping wheel chair and baby carriage. He continued they should be placed at a certain section, not throughout the whole compartment.

He also directed to install high chairs for the office workers who spend most of the time in front of the desk.
