Taeun Farm in Usi County, Jagang Province, is a farm in deep mountain district which even the people from it dare not have the courage to visit again.
Modern and elegant houses matching well with mountains were built in such a rural village to undergo an unbelievable change toward the end of last year.
Farmer Kim Sun Ae is said to often looks at her doorplate of the new house given by the country free of charge, still doubtful whether it really belongs to her.
The same feeling goes for other people in the village.
Now farmers spend more time looking around the brightly lit village with a dream of better future instead of heading direct to their homes. Indeed civilized life found its place in remote mountain village far away from the city.The change of the mountainous village will lead to the ardent desire of the agricultural workers to work hard to bring about bumper crops so as to repay the loving care of the Workers’ Party of Korea giving them such a happy life.
Indeed, a great revolution has taken place to change mountains and streams as well as the people.
