The mother of Chong Yang looked much older than her age for a deep concern about her daughter. Ryang Un Hye remained awake all night since she could not help thinking about Chong Yang while looking into her son in sound sleep.
Then she heard the voice of her mother.
“It is said that a devoted farmer who values the seeds most has different seeds to be kept or abandoned, but the same cannot be said for us, educators, who cultivate the future of the country under the loving care of our Party.”
Jon Hui Suk, mother of Ryang Un Hye, was a socialist patriotic person of merit who brought up a lot of students for 38 years.
Ryang Un Hye got the strength and courage as well as duty of educator from the words of her mother. Her mother’s words encouraged and reminded her of a duty of educator. With a mind to help Chong Yang spell just a word “mother”, she decided to admit Chong Yang to the music and dance circle.
The special education to make Chong Yang speak with her lips which had been stiff for 12 years and feel the subtle distinction between the vowel and consonant of the Korean language had to be accompanied by deep study.
In particular, Chong Yang found it very difficult to pronounce consonant. The days of her efforts to help Chong Yang pronounce a consonant sound were filled with moving stories. (to be continued)
