Peculiar Reporting System
In March, 2002, Chairman Kim Jong Il visited a women’s company of the Korean People’s Army.
The commanding officer of the unit told the Chairman that the company had triplet soldiers called Yun Hwang Ok, Yun Kum Ok and Yun San Ok. The Chairman met with them.
He asked about the age, height, native place, jobs of their parents and their military service.
Suddenly he asked about the height of their parents.
The eldest soldier told him of the height. The Chairman said as the triplets are still young and their parents are tall, they can grew in stature.
He asked the commanding officers to inform him of their height every year.
After all, a peculiar reporting system was taken for reporting the Supreme Commander of their physical growth every year.
