Eleven years have elapsed since the historic day, December 30, 2011, when the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un became Supreme Commander of the armed forces of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK).

Eleven years is not a long period of time for a country and nation.

But historic meaning of that eleven years cannot be calculated with physical unit.

The last eleven years can be said to be the days demonstrating that he was the great preeminent Supreme Commander in the world.

Comrade Kim Jong Un turned the Korean People’s Army (KPA) into the one strong in ideology and morality imbued with monolithic ideology and improved themselves mentally and morally.

The most important in his leadership of the army is that he pushed ahead with the work of strengthening the KPA politically and ideologically and making it morally sound.

He directed primary efforts to firmly arming the KPA with the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung (1912-1994) and Chairman    Kim Jong Il (1942-2011) and developing it into an army strong in ideology which is winning sure victory by dint of spiritual strength and morality.

Whenever he visited KPA units, the first leg of his visit were education room to revolutionary activities, room to revolutionary history and education room. While making rounds of them, he gave instructions to add brilliance to the military idea and army-building exploits of the preceding leaders and led all the officer and men of the KPA to have a good knowledge of the history and traditions of victory in which they defeated the enemies’ “theory that weapon is omnipotent” in reliance upon the theory that ideology is omnipotent and moral superiority.

The enlarged meeting of the Central Military Commission of the Workers’ Party of Korea held in February 2015 under his guidance was an important occasion, a new milestone for consistently holding up the line of strengthening the army politically and ideologically and making it morally sound to meet the demands of the developing reality and increasing the ideological strength and moral might of the KPA in every way.

Comrade Kim Jong Un convened the Fourth Meeting of Company Commanders and Company Political Instructors of the KPA, the First Meeting of Pilots of the KPA, the Third Meeting of Battalion Commanders and Battalion Political Instructors of the KPA, the Meeting of Drillmasters of the KPA and other meetings so as to further increase the invincible might of the powerful revolutionary army of Mt. Paektu.  

Saying that modern warfare is the fight with brains of commanding officers, he trained strategic and tactical judgment of commanding officers and guided striking trainings of services and arms so as to increase their operational command capacities. His guidance brought about epoch-making turn in the form, content and method of the training of KPA.

The might of the KPA armed with Juche-based strategy and tactics as well as modern striking means have been fully manifested in the military Exercises of KPA Units for Operation of Tactical Nukes, Firing Drills of Artillery and Air Force Units, test-fire of Long-range Strategic Cruise Missiles and other military drills of all kinds.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un brought up the KPA as a creator of heroic feats working for the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people.   

He led the officers and men of the KPA to hold up the slogan “We serve the country and people!” and always take the lead at main battle fields of socialist construction so as to make a breakthrough.

It was again the KPA that took charge of the construction of Songhwa Street and the Pothonggang riverside terraced residential district put up in Pyongyang drawing the attention of the international community and the large-scale Ryonpho Greenhouse Farm that struck the world with admiration.

The KPA is now working for world-startling miracles in the construction of grand monumental edifices in different parts of the country.

The KPA led by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un will always be crowned with only victory and glory.
