In hearty response to the highly important tasks laid down at the Seventh and Eighth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the enormous activities are happening briskly to carry out the program of rural revolution in the new era and proud edifices are put up one after another in different parts of the country, while Hwangjugindung waterway construction (a large scale gravity-fed waterway) is near completion.

Thanks to the devoted struggle of the builders who are dedicating their sincere sweats of patriotism to the vast grand nature remaking to lay foundations for sustainable and stable agricultural production, more than 500 open-air structure projects were successfully finished and large scale waterway extending hundreds of kilometers makes its appearance with each passing day.

Meanwhile, the Haeju Farm Machine Factory is registering more successes in the production of small rice harvesters of new type.

It already sent new rice harvesters to many farms and is working hard to develop and produce more efficient farm machines.
