Sea Chilbo Rainbow Rock
There is a sea Chilbo rainbow rock, a living monument at Sea Chilbo, scenic spot in Myongchon County, North Hamgyong Province of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
The shape of the rock looks like a rainbow since its one end seems to hang on the surface of the mountain slope and the other end seems to be driven in the sea. Therefore, the rock is called rainbow rock.
It is about 8 meters high. The height of the part with a tunnel is 4.5 meters and the length of the tunnel is about 10 meters.
Sea Chilbo rainbow rock with wonderful shape, is well known as a scenic spot from ancient times.
