Among the sportspersons of our country who won gold medals at the Asia Weightlifting Championships for 2024 held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan some days ago is Won Hyon Sim.
She won three gold medals at the Grand Prize Tournament of the International Weightlifting Federation in 2023 and also won three gold medals at the recent championships.
When the people gave a bunch of flowers in congratulation upon her successes, she said: “these gold medals belong to my motherland, not to me.”
