Pubyok Pavilion
There is Pubyok Pavilion on Chongnyu Cliff of Moran Hill, which was registered as national site No. 17.
Pubyok Pavilion was built as an annex of Yongmyong Temple in the year 393, the time of Koguryo. It was called Yongmyong Pavilion, but was renamed Pubyok Pavilion from the beginning of the 12th century.
Welcoming the first full moon at the Pubyok Pavilion is well known as one of the eight beauty spots of Pyongyang.
Pubyok Pavilion was a general terrace north of the Walled City of Pyongyang
It is one of material heritage associated with the distinguished architecture of Korean people and patriotic history of struggle against aggressors.
