Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a congratulatory message to Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and president of the Republic of Cuba, on April 20.
In the message he extended warm comradely greetings and congratulations to Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez on his birthday.
Thanks to the energetic guidance of the first secretary, today the Cuban party and people are making steady progress in socialist construction while firmly defending the sovereignty of the country and the gains of the revolution despite all sorts of challenges and difficulties, the message said.
Expressing the conviction that the traditionally friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and the two countries, forged and strengthened in the struggle for independence and socialism against imperialism, would develop more vigorously, the message sincerely wished the first secretary good health and his family happiness. -0-
