Keen on Seriousness of Global Warming
Recently the UN Inter-Governmental Committee on Climate Change published a report summing up the latest reports on the global warming.According to the report, if the brake is not put on the global warming the upward curve of temperature would exceed 1.5℃ in the first-half of the 2030s and reach 3.2℃ at the end of the 21st century.The public were of a strong opinion that if the global warming was left as it was the natural disasters such as floods and drought would be further frequent, which would greatly affect the ecology.Quite lamentable it is that a clear solution is yet remote despite the lapse of decades’ time since the controversy relating to the issue of global warming.Anxious about that the efforts of the international community to decrease the emission of the greenhouse gas, a direct cause of the global warming could turn to be an empty talk, many branches of the Red Cross Society of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea hold that the International Red Cross and Red Crescent movement must lead this global campaign.
