Children with disabilities mark International Children’s Day
On June 1, there was a meeting of children with disabilities to mark the International Children’s Day (June 1) in Pyongyang city.Attending it were Yun Chang Il, chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled, officials concerned, children with disabilities, children of Tongmun Kindergarten No.2 in Taedonggang District of Pyongyang City, nurses, kindergarten teachers and children’s parents.At the meeting, Song Hyang Chun who is the rector of the Korean Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Disability delivered a speech and there were ant art performance and sports amusements contest of the children with disabilities and kindergartners.
