Yangdok Hot Spring Resort
The Yangdok Hot Spring Resort was built in Yangdok County, South Phyongan Province in December 2019 as a comprehensive hot spring treatment facility and a multi-functional sports and cultural complex.
Yangdok hot spring is a simple spring with slight alkalinity. Its temperature is between 39 to 49℃. Typical effects of the spring include emollience, resolution, promoted blood circulation and metabolism, inhibition of gastric secretion, increased intestinal secretion, and detoxification from chronic heavy metal poisoning.
The spring water is also used to treat chronic gastritis, hyperuricemia, gout, heavy metal poisoning, silicosis, chronic eczema, impetigo, psoriasis, lichen, bone and joint diseases, aftereffects of injuries and operations, neuralgia, neuritis and infertility, etc.
