Spring Tree-Planting is Brisk
In cooperation with the local land management bodies, the Red Cross branches at all levels have drawn up the tree-planting plans on the basis of climate and soil conditions. RC volunteers and youth members were involved in various activities including maintenance of roads and rivers and planting good species of trees on mountains around villages on the occasion of the tree-planting day.
Before planting trees, the RC volunteers and youth members were given the explanations on the importance and significance of afforestation in eco-environmental protection and the sci-tech requirements in tree-planting.
