For Capacity Building of Red Cross Youth Members
The Red Cross Society of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea has put greater efforts into activities for the capacity building of the RC youth members.
In particular, the DPRK RCS organized various technical trainings attaching great importance to equipping the RC youth members with extensive knowledge of the relevant fields including eco-environmental protection, hygiene promotion, first aid, etc. and.
To this end, the DPRK RCS invited experts to facilitate the trainings in close collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.
The trained RC youth members engaged in various activities to protect the eco-environment and remove disaster risks within their communities while carrying out hygiene promotion activities in various forms and methods including verbal dissemination, distribution of health information leaflets and art performances targeting the community people.
