Proactive Emergency Preparedness
The staff of the Red Cross Society of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK RCS) conducted field monitoring of the storage and maintenance of relief items and equipment stockpiled in the central and local warehouses.
The staff from the Logistics Department and the branch office visited the warehouses in Pyongyang, Phyongsong and Hamhung cities to monitor the warehouse management and the condition of stockpiled relief materials and took an inventory of the items.
The staff from the Logistics Department acquainted themselves with the problems arising in the management of the warehouse and discussed on necessary actions to be taken with the officials from the branch office.
They also requested the warehouse keepers to comply with their duties in warehouse management and handling of items bearing in mind the importance of their task.
