To Cope With Sudden Crisis
The Red Cross Society of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK RCS) has made sure that the National and Provincial Disaster Response Teams are fully prepared as the rainy season will arrive earlier than the average according to the weather forecast.
The DPRK RCS is keeping in close contact with the State Hydro-Meteorological Administration to regularly get updated on the weather forecast and movement of rain belt, which is promptly shared with the branches at all levels. It is also carrying out activities to ensure human and material preparedness for immediate response in times of emergency.
The branches at all levels are identifying the volunteers to be mobilized during emergency and reconfirming their contact numbers and contact means while preparing them for swift mobilization.
