Importance of Storage of Emergency Relief Items Emphasized
In mid-November, the staff of the Headquarters and the South Phyongan Province Branch of the Red Cross Society of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea monitored the storage condition of emergency relief items stocked at the DP(disaster preparedness) warehouse in Phyongsong city for the regular assessment of its crisis and disaster management capacity.
The monitoring team emphasized to the warehouse keepers the importance of the storage of emergency relief items in the disaster management and discussed several issues to keep the stocks in a responsible manner.
