To Fulfil Its Mission
The Red Cross Society of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK RCS) reviewed the 2025 implementation and is drawing up the 2026 action plan.
The main orientation of the DPRK RCS of the year 2026 on the 80th birthday is to strengthen its organizational capacity and crisis response capacity so as to actively support the government’s works in various fields such as disaster management, health and WASH, protection of ecosystem, etc., and to fulfil its mission as the health and relief organization.
The headquarters and the branches at all levels of the DPRK RCS held meetings to review the successes and lessons learnt in 2025 and to decide the activities of 2026.
And the consultative meetings with the local authorities and the residents and the field assessments are scheduled to make the plan realistic.
