Ceremonies of opening new school year for Juche 113 (2024) were held at all schools throughout the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea on the morning of April 1.Prior to the ceremonies, there took place ceremonies of hoisting the national flag.Officials of the Workers’ Party of Korea, power organs and relevant units, teachers and students congratulated the freshers with applause and bouquets.Speakers at the ceremonies stressed that all the teachers should possess ennobling spiritual and moral traits and high level of scientific, theoretical and practical qualifications and fulfill their duty with credit true to the lofty intention of the respected ComradeKim Jong Un to raise the country’s education to the world level.At the ceremonies students expressed their determination to study hard for their motherland.The first lessons of the new school year began after the ceremonies.
