One Family

Ji Sun Nyo lives in the neighborhood 83, town of Changsong County, North Phyongan Province. She is one of the staffs of the County People’s Committee. She was bereft of her parents in childhood.

Though she had been excepted of parental love, she grew happily under the socialist system with not a bit of grief and now to an official of the people’s power organ.

Being a mistress of a house and an official responsible for the livelihood of the county people, she also takes good care of the life of the war veterans and the honored disabled soldiers living in the town of county.

She would be affectionate even towards common old people as to her kith and kin.

After her mother-in-law passed away years ago, she brought a childless old woman to live with her.

Even the neighborhood is said to have taken the old woman for her mother.

Busy as she was in the office, she would be anxious about the old woman by bringing her tasty food and taking all the household chores upon herself. The sincerity moved the old woman.

Her son far from home in a shock brigade too would ask first the health of the old woman when he put a call to his mother, thinking much of the old woman.

The village is proud of her family making an unrelated old woman as a head of the family and keeping it harmonious and happy.
