Young Volunteers Nationwide
Many young people in Pyongyang volunteered to coalmines, cooperative farms and other fields.
Kang Jin Hyok, worker of the Central District General Tailor’s volunteered to Samjiyon City with a determination to work and live there permanently and Song Kum Yong, Children’s Union instructor of the Singan Higher Middle School of the Hyongjesan District to a cooperative farm and many others followed suit to various sectors.
The young volunteers to the Kangdong Area Coal Mining Complex, Komdok Mining Complex and Hungnam Fertilizer Complex are determined to devote their talents and energy to the struggle for implementing the decisions of the Eighth WPK Congress.
Moreover, scores of young people in the Ryanggang Province volunteered to the mines, young shock brigades, young ridgeway units, cooperative farms and mountainous schools.
The graduates of the Kim Jong Suk University of Education and Hyesan Teachers Training College volunteered to the schools and branch schools at the foot of Mt. Paektu determined to devote their youth to training the rising generation of the country.
The young people of the Kim Jong Suk County volunteered to the Ryanggang Provincial youth shock brigade and Ryongsongryong youth ridgeway unit, and the other youths in the province too, to other mines and cooperative farms with the determination to display their mettle in the struggle for the fulfillment of the new Five-Year Plan.
