Criteria of a Meeting Being Success or Failure
In November 1964 Indonesian President Sukarno came to the DPRK.
President Kim Il Sung gave him a warm welcome and had many sincere talks with him.
In the talks, President Sukarno informed President Kim Il Sung of the deliberation of the agenda in the 2nd Non-Aligned Summit held in Egypt and his activities.
President Kim Il Sung noted that the summit had been very progressive and evaluated highly the address of President Sukarno had given there about the strengthening of the struggle against imperialism and colonialism.
Encouraged by the appreciation of the President Kim Il Sung , Sukarno opened up his mind with a smile: The imperialists heap all the abuses they could name upon me.
President Kim Il Sung said that he knew of it very well and stressed that if the meeting was praised by the imperialists it turned wrong, but good when they disliked it.
Greatly inspired by the words of President Kim Il Sung ,Sukarno told him as follows: It is a wise remark with a philosophical depth. I will tell my men that they have gone wrong if the imperialists agreed them, but they have done well if the imperialists were hard upon them.
