Building Parts from Construction Waste
The photos show paving blocks and artificial slabs produced in a construction unit in Phyongchon District, Pyongyang.
The officials and employees of this unit studied the technical methods relating to the recycling of the construction waste through the internet and with the assistance of the professional technicians, they manufactured a new type crusher and took measures for retrieving construction waste from every corner. After that, they began to produce paving blocks satisfactorily with reduced amount of cement and other building materials.
Besides, they set up a process of producing artificial slabs making use of scrap glass.
Now all of them are filled with warm enthusiasm and pride of turning out useful building materials out of waste left abandoned to make their city and district more beautiful.
