Excellent Answer to “I’ve No Idea”

A Western journalist paid a visit to the DPRK, years ago. Before the visit he had collected via varied routes a lot of information relating to the livelihood of the ordinary people there such as the free medical care, free education, a country free of taxes and etc.
While staying in the DPRK he met the people of various walks of life to have a correct knowledge.
He had conversation with a worker of a machine factory.
Journalist: How many children do you have? How much are their tuition fees?
Worker: I have two children. ... (Questioning look on his face) What are the tuition fees? I’ve no idea.
Journalist: I mean the cost you pay when you register your children at school.
Worker: It’s quite new to me. I have been sending them with no knowledge of such fee.
The journalist decided that he was a father ignorant of his family affair and rather housewives would be better because they are more concerned with their family and children. He met a housewife and asked her the same questions.
She answered with a smile that she also has two children who go to universities receiving stipends. And to the question on the tuition fees, her reply was also “I’ve no idea”, and she thought it as an expense the state pays the students. More deplorable was that she was ignorant of even the rent of her apartment as large as 150 square meters.
The journalist only became aware of the situation through the explanation of those guiding him—in the DPRK the master of the state is all the people; the material wealth is created and the state run on the basis of the creative zeal of the masses of people, in other words, their ideological and spiritual power; figuratively saying, just as all the members of a family work for the sake of their family, all the people work for the sake of their state; dwelling houses are built by the state and assigned to the residents free of charge, and etc. It was really difficult to understand with only habitual life law.
The journalist then understood and said: The real character of this society is mirrored in the phrase “I have no idea.”
