He said that as the situation of the country is tense, war preparations should also be made, but we are going to realize all the agreed projects, we are going to send all the technicians and experts demanded, although our country has not yet been developed a lot economically and technologically and become a powerful and prosperous country, we will do as possible as we can for the help of the friend, this is a consistent policy of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the government of the Republic.

He looked round us benevolently and said, you asked for sending technicians of rice cultivation and it is very good. He gave a ready consent to sending the rice technicians.

I was very grateful to him and expressed my thanks. And I told him that there is a saying in my country that a friend in need is a friend indeed.

Then the President said that there is also a similar proverb in my country which means that a visitor came for a good thing is not a genuine friend, but a friend came to help for a sad and difficult thing is a genuine friend, and it is very true.
