Concern about rising global temperature

The United Nations Environment Program recently published a report that the global temperature will rise by 2.8°C by the end of the 21st century if decisive measures are not taken for preventing the global warming.
According to it, although every country achieves the goal for reducing the emission of greenhouse gas until the year 2030, the temperature will rise by 2.5℃.
The Red Cross Society of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK RCS) set forth climate change response and ecological environment protection as one of the main tasks to protect the country's land and cope with global warming.
As a part of this work, it mobilized the Red Cross volunteers to conduct tree planting, river improvement work and carried out afforestation for erosion control projects.
The DPRK RCS built three solar-thermal vegetable greenhouses with a cycle production system at four Integrated Community Resilience Projects and operated them regularly to contribute to reducing the emission of carbon dioxide.
The activities of the DPRK RCS to prevent global warming and protect the ecological environment will continue in the future, too.
