World Health Organization decided to maintain
the public health emergency situationThe World Health Organization (WHO) has decided to maintain the public health emergency situation against COVID-19 on the 30th of January, 2023.According to the decision, the alert measure will prolong for 3 more months on the highest level.WHO has declared that the health system got overweighted since new variants of COVID-19 virus are increasing and influenza virus and respiratory syncytium virus are spotted in its early stages.WHO had already announced the public health emergency situation worldwide on the 30th of January, 2020.On the condition that health crisis is deteriorating owing to various respiratory diseases with COVID-19, the Red Cross Society of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK RCS) is enhancing the hygiene anti-epidemic promotion to maintain the high crisis awareness and to eliminate self-conceit and absentmindedness among population in close connection with the health institutions.
