SOS! the hot Earth
Recently, meteorologists have affirmed that this year is expected to be a hot one as high temperature caused by El Niño and the climate change will simultaneously occur.The World Meteorological Organization warns the phenomenon of El Niño will be raised in 80% during July and September bringing about global warming.The mean temperature of seawater in May already ascended 0.1℃ more compared with other years showing the high possibility of appearance of an extreme climate, specialists asserted.Temperature has reached almost 40℃ even in Siberia, one of the coldest region in the world.Considering the coming severe heat by El Niño as an established fact, the Red Cross Society of the DPR Korea (the DPRK RCS) gave directions to its all disaster response teams to be strictly prepared for any mobilization and made volunteers be ready to provide aged people, pregnant women and nursing mothers and children with necessary services.
