Agricultural Workshop Held
On May 29, 2024, a workshop on agricultural technology was held on the theme of “Climate change and agricultural production” at the headquarters of the Red Cross Society of the DPR Korea (DPRK RCS).Present at the workshop were the officials of the headquarters of the Red Cross Society. The officials of the Agricultural Commission of the DPR Korea were invited.The participants listened attentively to the general explanation of the negative effects of climate change on agricultural production and environment-friendly methods like conservative farming and organic farming which can conserve ecological environment and ensure sustained agricultural production.The workshop is of great significance in view of the present time when the Red Cross Society puts forward it as its major objective to make its activities greening-oriented.Availing itself of the workshop, the DPRK RCS extends warm thanks to the officials of the Agricultural Commission who has contributed to improving the general ability of its officials. In the future, too, it will strengthen cooperation and exchanges with them.
