Good Planning Leads to Success
The branches of the Red Cross Society of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea at all levels mapped out the plan of action for 2025 with the view that the success of their work is ensured by a realistic and well-designed plan.
Included in the plan are the identification and removal of disaster risks, hygiene promotion to prevent all sorts of diseases and dissemination of first aid knowledge, with a special focus on the environmental protection and roles of Red Cross (RC) volunteers.
To make the plan realistic, the staff of the RC branches had consultative meetings with the local authorities and the residents, and carried out field assessments.
