Production of more than 10 million wild fruit saplings
More than 10 million wild fruit saplings were produced in Ryanggang Province of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.The Provincial Forest Management Bureau took measures to provide material and technical support for further improving the scientific and intensive levels of sapling production on the basis of the step-by-step plan.Kim Jong Suk County has made successes in the production of wild fruit saplings by relying on the masses.Pochon County, too, laid the foundation for producing more Koryo medicines and foodstuffs by increasing the production of wild fruit saplings including wild grapes, actinidia argute and schizandra chinensis.The Kim Hyong Jik County Forest Management Station introduced a natural irrigation system into the tree nursery among the woods to grow the tree saplings without discrimination. And Unhung County brought up hundreds of thousands of seedlings to widely spread new varieties of vitamin trees.
