New School Year 2023 Began in DPRK
A new school year for Juche 112 (2023) began in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK). In the morning of April 1 every nook and corner of the country was full of cheerful laughter and loud singing of the school children going to school in new uniforms.The schools across the country had an opening meeting of the new school year amidst parents and working people.Crowded with schoolchildren, their parents and teaching staff were all the schools throughout the country including Pyongyang Secondary School No 1, Pyongyang Secondary School for orphans,Kim Song Ju Primary School, Pyongyang Primary School No 4, Sinchon Junior Middle School in Yonthan County, Haeun Primary School in Haeju City and Yonggwang Primary School in Sariwon City.Prior to school-year opening meeting, every school held a national flag raising ceremony.Officials of Workers’ Party of Korea, government and relevant institutions, teaching staff and schoolchildren congratulated the new enrollees entering the school ground and presented bouquets to them.At the meetings, speakers said that the bell of learning was ringing out loudly all over the country under the loving care and benevolence of the respected fatherly Marshalwho is glorifying the idea of President Kim Jong Un and Chairman Kim Il Sung on the education of younger generation and their leadership exploits. Kim Jong Il They expressed their determination to fulfill their duty as educators in giving full play to the advantages and vitality of the universal 12-year compulsory education by devoting themselves to education.In their speeches schoolchildren spoke out their minds to study hard for the country and prepare themselves as competent revolutionary talents, knowledgeable, virtuous and healthy and true sons and daughters of the socialist country.After the meetings, the first lesson in the new school year began.The schoolchildren’s resounding sound of reading and singing will add to lively vigor and vitality in the heart of the countrymen who are making dynamic grand advance toward a new horizon of the national development.
