Sculpture and Craftwork Festival Held in DPRK

The 4th National Sculpture and Craftwork Festival was held in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the foundation of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK).
On display at the venue of the festival were more than 300 pieces of sculptures and craftworks with diverse themes and forms of over 30 kinds created by sculptors, craftsmen, fans and students from across the country.
The opening ceremony took place at the Pyongyang International House of Culture on the 5th of October.
Present there were officials of ministries, national institutions and fine art field, creators, working people and school youth and children in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK.
At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round the venue of the festival.
